Jen Bosche, sophomore, is running for Junior Class President. "I feel like there is no policy for students who are struggling and I want to use my position to be a corrilator between students and administaters to help figure out a plan for these kids and their family lives," Bosche said.

Tarun Narayan, sophomore, is Junior Class Vice President. "I ran for Vice President because it gives me an opportunity to give my fellow peers and classmates a voice and act as a bridge between the administrators and other students. I also want have a chance to work with the faculty to make school events more fun," Narayan said.

Josh Merz, sophomore, is running for Junior Class Vice President. "I just want to make Marquette a fun place for everyone," Merz said.

Morgan Kovis, junior, is Senior Class Secretary. " I love being in leadership positions and working with different groups of people. I was a secretary this year and I had a lot of fun working with the other class officers for Mr.Mustang and prom," Kovis said.

Camryn Kesselring, sophomore, is running of Junior Class Vice President. "When I read the job desciption for vice president, I felt like I could do it because they collaborate with the president and work on a lot of fundraising things, which I have experience with from yearbook."

Natasha John , sophomore, is Junior Class Secrtary. "I feel like I can make it more fun for students through the spirit weeks and pep rallys. I also feel like there can be more integrity in the classroom making Marquette better," John said.

Sriram Zassenhaus, sophomore, is running for Junior Class Secretary. "It seemed likw a relatively easy job, and a good thing for your college application, and my friends were running too."

Zach Moehlenkamp, junior, is running for Senior Class Vice President. "I wanted to give the Senior Class a voice and opinion in how they could change the way they feel at Marquette and their experience. And if they have any suggestions, I could collaborate and help work out a solution for them."

Julia Walsh (right), sophomore is currently running for Junior Class Secretary. "I feel like this will be a really good position for me to get other people's voices out who don't feel like they have a voice, because there's definitely a big population at Marquette who want to speak out, but don't have the opportunity to. If I can reach out as a person, and make the communication better all around, then more groups of people that are diverse, of different religions, and are more ethnic can each share their opinion and I can voice it for them."

Lauren Pisarkiewicz, sophomore, is running for Junior Class President. "I love doing volunteering and I'm in a lot of clubs; I'm in Key Club, Student Council, and the Sophomore Advisory Board, and I'm also on JV tennis and JV lacrosse, and I just love being involved. I also know that the president does a lot of fundraising, and I feel like we could make it more fun and get nice things."

Sophia Lombardi, junior, is running for Senior Class Vice President. "I think I'd be a really good representative for my class, and I want senior year to be fun, and I want to run with my brother. I think it'd be cute if we won together."

Kevin Wang, sophomore, is Junior Class President. "I feel as if I'm a good representative for the Class of 2020 here at Marquette, and a lot of people told me I'd be a good president, so I ran."

Max Lombardi, junior, is running for Senior Class President. "I wanted to get involved with the student body for a while, and I thought this was a good way to do it. I want to make senior year memorable for the Senior Class and I want them to remember how fun senior year was."

Melissa Adams, junior, is running for Senior Class Historian. "I want to promote cultural diversity and minority rights in the Marquette community, and showcase the amount of opportunity we have at said community."

Logan Chazen, junior, is running for Senior Class Treasurer. "It seems fun to be treasurer. I just really wanted to do it, and I feel like I'd be good at it because I like math."

Lauren Bailey, junior, is Senior Class President. "I love planning, and my mom was a Senior Class President, and plans all the class reunions, so that's what got me really excited about it. And also because I can then coordinate graduation and make it a memorable experience for everyone. I want to make a big difference and change in my grade."

Zara Abbassi, junior, is Senior Class Vice President. "This is the current position I'm in for the Junior Class, so I just thought that I would go for it again. It was a lot of hard work this year, but it was really fun, so I want to continue on and help plan graduation, and senior stuff to make sure that we have an amazing senior year."

Blake Fischer, junior, is running for Senior Class President. "I want the school to have moer school spirit, and I feel like our athletes, and people who participate in theater and other clubs, should receive proper recgonition. I'm also planning to run because I feel like I would make a great Senior Class President."

Lucia Diez, sophomore, is running for Junior Class Treasurer. "A bunch of our friends decided to do it together, and we thought it would look good for college applications. Also, we wanted to plan out dances and make activities fun so everyone would want to join, and make the school feel more together."

Quinn Brandt, sophomore, is running for Junior Class President. "When I first came to Marquette, it was really scary because I went to a really small middle and elementary school, so it was a really big change for me. I just want to make sure that everyone here has a voice, and it's heard, and that everyone feels like they belong."

Vyomesh Tripathi, sophomore, is running for Junior Class Secretary. "I believe I'm a hard worker who's dedicated and punctual, and I believe I can make detailed notes and spread them to the rest of the officers."

Sriya Kosaraju, sophomore, is running for Junior Class Secretary. "I believe that I can make a difference in organizing important events for the class of 2020."

Jack Allen, sophomore, is running for Junior Class Treasurer. "I want to make a positive change to the school, and I wanted to be present for my class."

Andy Richmann, sophomore, is running for Junior Class Treasurer. "I have experience with fundraising and my hockey team thought that I could make a difference in my junior class," Richmann said.

Samad Arif, junior, is Senior Class Historian. "I am junior class Historian and I wanted reelection because I really enjoyed it the first time. I was able to meet a lot of new people that I had never talked to before" Arif said.

Marta Mieze, sophomore, is running for Junior Class Vice President. "I was writiting the history of MHS story and I got to talk to a lot of Marquette alumni. Talking to them, I relized how proud they were to be part of the Marquette community and I want our class to have the same pride as the alumni do" Miez said.

Jeff Swift, sophomore, is Junior Class Historian. "I figured that I would be the most qualified to run for class Historain and it's a great way to get expereince and improve my journalism and photo taking skills" Swift said.

Sabrina Lacy, sophomore, is running for Junior Vice President. "I am running for Vice President because I really want to get involved in the school. I really want to help the school and I feel like I could help becasue you have to fundraise and I have experience with ads" Lacy said.

Will Roach, sophomore, is running for Junior Class President. "I'm qualified because I have been in many leadership positions in the past, the first being a patrol manager in my Boy Scouts group and the second being a media manager for our school's debate team. Both these experiences have led me to find that leadership is something I enjoy as I like helping others. Take the Roach Approach!

For the duration of first hour, 102 students gathered to protest gun violence. Students joined together in nine minutes of silence for the 30 killed in Columbine and Parkland combined.
