Kendall Rackley, math teacher, opens Canvas on Friday, May 8. On Thursday, May 7, at 3:45 p.m., Canvas, Rockwood’s learning management system, was hacked by ShinyHunters. Rockwood officials notified students and staff of this incident at 4:35 p.m., and Canvas was unavailable from 3:45 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. the following day.

The nature trail entrance is framed by a wooden archway. Dan Whiting, science teacher, said the trail will be undergoing enhancements over the upcoming years.
On Thursday, May 7, the elevator by the nurse’s office was put out of order, causing students with crutches to have to use the stairs. Maddie Robinson, freshman, uses crutches after she tore her anterior cruciate ligament. "It can take a long time sometimes and get tiring for my legs,” Robinson said.
A bus unloads students on Friday, May 8. The finalized budget, now sent to be confirmed by Governor Mike Kehoe, could potentially impact K-12 transportation and education budgets across the state.
Future principal Andrew Gibb-Clark discusses plans for the 2026-2027 school year with Principal Dr. Tracy Waeckerle on Wednesday, May 6. Gibb-Clark will replace Junior Principal Dr. Rick Regina who is moving to Selvidge Middle School.
Myra Deen, sophomore, sits in the library to finish her language arts EOC. Deen's Ac Lab was moved into the library due to the distracting smell.
