In front of recent graduates and a packed student section, boys basketball (3-6) pulled out an exciting 54-53 win over Parkway West (7-4) on Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Seniors Jack Matzen and Sean McCracken led the team with 31-combined points.

MHS shot 60 percent from the field in the first quarter and finished the night shooting 50 percent.

McCracken won the team’s “Hard Hat” award for his 16 points, six rebounds, and two steals.

The Mustangs look ahead to their game on Friday against Webster Groves (10-2) at 7 p.m.
