Hockey falls to Lafayette, students forced to leave

Hockey fell to the Lafayette Lancers Friday night after the majority of the student section was escorted out of the arena by police before the third period.
The Lancers took an early lead and maintained a 2-0 margin as the second period came to a close. At this time foul language from the Mustang student section brought police attention and the majority of the students were shuffled through a back door. More police later arrived on the scene as students congregated outside the building.
Despite the loss of fan support, the Mustangs found success in the third quarter. A Lancer goal early on brought the score to 3-0, but the Mustangs rallied and found the goal twice as the game came to a close for a final score of 3-2.
