    Athlete Profile: Jessie Dunlap

Jessie Dunlap, junior, is heavily involved in sports at MHS with Basketball, Field Hockey and Soccer.

She has been playing basketball since third grade, field hockey since her freshman year, and soccer since she was four years old.

She said she doesn’t have a favorite sport because she enjoys playing all sports.

“I like to have a variety, that’s why I don’t just play one sport”, Dunlap said.

She said it is hard for her to balance her social life, sports and her rigorous schedule at school but she regulates it.

“It’s pretty regulated, my schedule, I have practice from 5:00-5:30. Then I go home and do homework and I make time on the weekends”, Dunlap said.

She said her social life is really affected because of all of her obligations at school, like being the junior class vice-president.

She said she has to make the most of the time at school because she just doesn’t have time outside of school.

She said she also socializes at practice and she is excited for districts.

“I hope to see support during the post season for the varsity girls field hockey team on our path to victory”, Dunlap said.
