The vaccine arrives at a facility in a box of dry ice and is immediately transferred to an ultracold freezer, where it is stored at -80 degrees Celsius. It is then thawed in a refrigerator for up to five days. Before usage, the vaccine is diluted with saline solution and is good for up to six hours.
