  • Firefighters set Austin Cochran, senior, on a stretcher. Cochran played an injured student in the crash.

  • Willa Burns, senior, pretends to lie dead during the prom crash reenactment. This reenactment occurs annually before prom to show students the danger of driving while intoxicated.

  • The firefighters used the Jaws of Life, a hydraulic rescue tool used to take off the top of the car. They did this in order to ge the final victim out of the car.

  • Once the first responders have helped the injured, the police arrest Micah Nellis, senior. Nellis played the drunk driver who initiated the crash

  • As the crowd watches, the firefighters prepare the bodies to be placed into the Hearse.

  • Following the demonstration, the students have a chance to look at the equipment used to help victims of an accident.
