Student Council members and staff participate in the Polar Plunge at Creve Coeur Lake on Saturday, Feb. 28, hosted by Special Olympics Missouri. Students raised money for the upcoming MHS Special Olympics with the incentive of having administrators and students jumping into the freezing water.

Piper Little, junior, is a Staff Reporter and Illustrator for MHSNews. This is their second year on staff and are involved in MHS STUCO and Robotics outside of the Messenger. In their free time they like to draw, listen to music, and collect DVDs. Piper also does illustrations for the Marquette Messenger on occasion.
