MHSNews | Butterfly House Digs Deeper into the Value of Butterfly Life
The Butterfly House in Faust Park holds an elaborate butterfly exhibit that many visitors like Katherine and Rebecca (featured in the story) can enjoy. However, monarch butterflies are now on the “red list” from various factors related to human involvement. Chris Hartley, an entomologist and education coordinator at the Butterfly houses, discusses the value of butterfly life and the importance of preserving it now more than ever in an age where butterflies are becoming endangered.
