Lee attends premiere of ‘Deathly Hallows’

“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows,” premiered Friday, Nov. 19. Every movie theatre around was sold out, according to the galaxy in the Valley. Lee Mitchell, MHS librarian, said she is a Harry Potter fanatic and attended the premiere.

“I just love Harry Potter so much,” Mitchell said. “The characters are great and the story of friendship and all the adventure gets me so excited.”

Mitchell said she went to the premiere with her best friend. They both have read the books and have discussions concerning Harry Potter whenever they see each other.

“It was my favorite movie yet,” Mitchell said. “Seeing Harry, Hermione and Ron all grown-up makes my heart melt.”

Her favorite character is Hermione because of her innocence and intelligence. Mitchell said she almost imagines them in real life and wishes she actually knew the chracters.

She also said how even though she does adore the movies, the books are much better because there is more detail. Although she does think the movie did the book justice because it was entertaining and suspenseful just like the book.

Mitchell said the first of the seventh movie of Harry Potter was a success and she hopes the second one will be the same. She plans to be front row at the next peremiere, on Friday, July 15, 2011.
