With “Little Women” opening night being less than a month away, it’s crunch time for the Marquette Theater Company (MTC).
“It is about the relationships of four sisters and how they become closer and grow into women,” Julia Germeroth, senior, said. “I play Aunt March. She is the old aunt, very snobby and rich. She is hard on the girls.”
Currently, Germeroth said she is working on memorizing the script, going to rehearsal, finalizing costumes and improving character development.
Because they are only a month away, MTC is also doing dry technology which Germeroth said is mixing up the technology needed for the show and acting.
“I call the cues for the show and do all things technical,” Stage manager Patrick Bevins, senior, said.
As being one of the highest members of the crew, Bevins said he is in charge of making sure all the technology runs smoothly in order for the show to run properly.
After being in MTC all four years, both Bevins and Germeroth have learned a lot.
“If you give your all, it will show,” Bevins said.
Germeroth agreed with Bevins, but she also thinks MTC is a great way to make new friends and entertain people.
“Little Women” opening night is on Friday, Nov. 15 in the MHS theater.

Patrick Bevins is still the greatest stage manager in this tri-state area.
