Breaking News: RSD announces Dr. Curtis Cain as new superintendent
After a year-long search for a new superintendent, the Rockwood Board of Education (BOE) has announced that Dr. Curtis Cain was unanimously selected as the district’s new superintendent effective July 1, 2022.
Dr. Cain currently serves as the superintendent of the Wentzville School District where he has worked since 2013 and has been named as the 2022 Missouri Association of School Administrators (MASA) Superintendent of the year. Dr. Cain is also one of four finalists for National Superintendent of the Year.
Dr. Cain will replace Dr. Tim Ricker who is serving as interim superintendent for this school year.
