NHS Meeting Updates
While students were pleased to receive the news about the early dismissal due to inclement weather, many students are questioning if and when activities organized for this weekend will be rescheduled. National Honor Society (NHS) was one of the clubs affected by the closure of the district.
NHS meets once a month and the organization was scheduled to have a meeting this Friday afternoon.
“We are unsure if we are going to reschedule,” Katie Bauman, NHS sponsor, said.
NHS meetings are held in the Flex Room due to the large amount of members in the society.
“We’re waiting to see if and when the Flex Room is available,” Bauman said. “As soon as we know something we’ll let members know.”
Next Friday, Jan. 18 is not a viable option for the club, due to the scheduled early release.
Update: Today at 12:36 P.M. Bauman posted an announcement on Google Classroom regarding the upcoming meeting.
“Our afternoon meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, January 14th, at 3:25 in the Flex room,” Bauman said in the post.
If students are unable to make the meeting, they should stop by Room 220 or Room 217 to pick up meeting notes.
