Mr. Girls Cross Country- Lucas Martins

How would you describe the sport that you’re representing?

Cross country is great. It’s half hating it and half never wanting it to stop. Teammates are great. The camaraderie is awesome. You get really in shape and the walk home where you regret everything is the best part. I love it.

How do you feel being nominated as Mr. Girls Cross Country?

It’s kind of a dream come true, a little bit because last season I was the spirit stick holder and that was my last season. But now I get to kind of continue on repping the cross country gang, so I’m excited. It should be fun.
