Greg’s Gains: Six Weeks to a Six Pack
I, Gregory Svirnovskiy, am a man of many talents. The editor in chief of this Marquette Messenger, a sushi connossieur. I can make one minute oatmeal in thirty seconds and know all sixteen minutes of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.
One thing that I’ve not yet mastered, however, is the distant world of athletics. In all of my seventeen years, aside from middle school swimming and soccer lessons, I can count the amount of times I’ve visited the gym in one hand.
And it shows. I’m disconcertingly weak. I’ve never won a game of arm wrestling and I actually can’t lift weights. I’ve come to one simple conclusion. I really need to work out.
Enter Greg’s Gains. For the next six weeks, I’ll be heading to the gym four times a week and eating exclusively lean meats and fruits and veggies. I’ll chronicle my muscle building journey with weekly blog posts for you all to read.
