Instead of making keys, students at MHS make a difference through involvement of Key Club. Key club allows students to have opportunities in the field of volunteerism.
Natalie Cibulka, senior, said, “Key club is an organization for students to get involved in the community and to get volunteer hours”.
Cibulka is the 2013-2014 service coordinator. Her job is to keep track of everyone’s service hours and to make sure everyone is accounted for at all the events.
She has been a part of Key Club since her freshman year and now she holds an officer position.
“I really enjoy doing thinks outside of Marquette and doing things for the community”, Cibulka said.
She also said that she is really looking forward towards the events that Key club is sponsoring.
“The Midnight Howl at the “Wolf” is always popular. There are also some upcoming school carnivals and The Zombie Run”, Cibulka said.
She said that she is really excited for this upcoming year for Key Club.
“Our goal is to spread the word about these upcoming events so more people sign up. The events sometimes get cancelled because we don’t have enough students sign up. We want to increase student involvement.”
