Nicole Seevers, senior, is a varsity softball player, as well as a varsity lacrosse player.
Seevers has been playing since she was in preschool. Nicole’s parents signed her up when she was four years old and has been playing ever since. This will be her third year on varsity.
“I play outfield and I also pitch,” Seevers said. “This year I’ve been playing more in the outfield.”
Seevers said the atmosphere of the team is positive and a creates a great environment to play in.
“The team is really fun to be with,” Seevers said. “We always have a good time on and off the field.”
Seevers said the team will be very strong this year. So far their overall record is 5-3, already much better than last year.
“We have a lot of really great seniors and also some strong underclassmen,” Seevers said. “That’ll definitely help us this season.”
Softball also took their team bonding off the field, with a trip to their coach’s house for a practical joke.
“We tee-peed our coach as a team this past weekend,” Seevers said. “He wasn’t too happy about it.”
Seevers said the team manages to always play hard, while still having fun off the field.
