Lacrosse Senior Night Leads To Playoffs

Chasing an opposing attacker up the field, Jenny Liu, senior, tries to stop the attack and go on some offense of her own. But, the Mustangs would go on to lose 16-7 and went 5-7 for the season.
Audra Yoder, junior, defends against the Pattonville attacker. Yoder had 12 assists along with her 18 goals for the year.
Jenny Liu, senior, blocks a Pattonville attacker and tries to prevent the attacker from taking a shot or pass. Liu had 16 goals made out of her 29 shots she had on goal this year.
Joyce Liu, junior, prepares to take a goal shot to gather a goal for her team and bring them back into the game. Liu had 14 goals and 5 assists this year.
Charging up the field, Madelyn Haas, sophomore, cradles the ball. Haas has been the main goal scorer for MHS with 30 goals this year helping bring the team to many successful wins. The Mustangs went 5-7 on the year.
Defending the goalie from trying to throw the ball out, Sara Goodman, senior, blocks her view. Goodman tried to rally the team back into the game but MHS lost 16-7 against Pattonville on Friday, May 13.
Monique Johnson, custodian, known to students as Ms. Monique, yells to the team in the second half of the game trying to get them back into a winning position. Ms. Monique makes appearances at many of the sports games and is always rooting on MHS’ teams.
Monique Johnson, custodian, joined a team huddle during the second half of the game, and tried to get the team mentally back into the game. MHS fell short in their second half rally attempt, and lost 16-7 to Pattonville.
