Andrew Farrel, senior, shouts, “Get the ball back!” during the second half of friday’s game. The student section was filled by half time of friday’s game, in spite of the near freezing conditions. “We didn’t care if it was cold, Stang Gang will be here no matter what.”

Running back Chris Kreh, junior, carries the ball up field past Savon Smith, junior, of Pattonville. “Kreh was on fire tonight,” said Isaiah Brisseaux, Senior, “But thats pretty normal for him.” Kreh rushed for 286 yards and 2 touchdowns on 24 carries.

Marquette Students, and SuperIntendent Mark Miles running flags following a MHS touchdown. Miles was impressed by the students’ enthusiasm throughout the game. “The students really do care, Especially after they won the game,” Miles said. Marquette beat pattonville 38-20 and would stay unbeaten at 7-0.

Jackson Edwards, junior, Catches a pass in warmups before the game against Pattonville. “It’s important that we show our best effort for this game, not only to win, but also to honor our senior guys.” Edwards said.

Ben Hollenbeck, senior, shakes hands with coaches as he and the other senior football players are honored. Hollenbeck has played with the Mustangs program since Middle School and is a key defensive player with 18 total tackles.

Julian Bledsoe, senior, evades tackles during a rush play in the first quarter of the senior game. MHS lead early in this game, putting up 17 points and allowing zero before the end of the first half.

Seniors Chloe Bast and Allison White, try to get the crowd amped up during the game. For cheerleaders, tonight is also senior night, and they honor their seniors on j.v. by bringing them up to varsity.

Varsity football Head Coach, Micheal Stewart, shouts advice to his players as they set up their next play. Stewart, in his first season as head coach, has led his team to a perfect 7-0 start to this season.

At half time, drum major Abby Grace, senior, leads the marching band through their performance. Grace was also honored for senior night. “We looked really good during our performance, which makes senior night so much sweeter.” Grace said.
