Mr. AP Computer Science- Brayden Haas
How would you describe the class that you’re representing?
I love AP Computer Science because it’s a really good way to learn about how computers work. It really is like learning a kind of a language, because when I started off, I had no idea what Java was, no idea about computers, and it made zero sense when I learned about it. Just memorizing and spitting it back out on paper. But now as we’re getting farther in the year, I understand how things work together. What is like a noun in the computer world, all these kind of things. It really is like a language, like I said, like being able to understand how things fit together and be able to use them inside of a fluid program.
If you could write an autobiography about yourself right now, what would it say?
I would write about how probably my biggest mantra in life is FOMO, which is fear of missing out. So I like to do everything I possibly can because I don’t want to miss out on anything. I want to experience any part of life that I possibly can, so whether that’s eating any food that I want, messing around, not being afraid of what people think, I like to do what I want to do.
What can audience members look forward to seeing from you?
I think the biggest thing is going to be the dancing and being as outstanding as I possibly can. Being able to appear like I’m having a conversation with everybody, not just kind of a stick figure, maybe like some of the other contestants.”
