Humans of MHS- Coleman Van Buskirk, Senior

“Playing soccer at MHS changes your viewpoint of work ethic and your perspective of how basic things are done. Your idea of working hard changes because if you think you are working hard, the bar ries when you work with Coach Kenny. This year, I played with my brother. It was definitely a first. Conversations at the dinner table were a little different because we related to stuff more. He always looked up to me for tips about how thing were run. Soccer is really important to my family. It was important to teach him respect and responsibility because incoming freshman are not used to that yet. Soccer is a huge deal to my family. On the weekends, it’s all we are watching. It’s not football, it’s soccer. My dad is a coach ,so, at dinner, it’s all soccer oriented,”
