Mr. Mythology Club- Dallen Carrell

How would you describe the club you’re representing?

Challenging because there’s a lot of pressure on my part since I’m the first Mr. Mythology to not drop out [of the performance] in the 20-odd years we’ve been doing this. So yeah, I feel like there’s a lot of pressure, especially from my teacher who’s representing me, Mr. Abney. I’m just going to have fun and make it the best senior year I can.

If you could write an autobiography about yourself right now, what would it say?

I’m one of those people that others hate. I’m an art prodigy, especially with instruments. I play a lot of instruments because I can literally pick them up and figure them out within an hour or two. I write a lot, paint, draw, do anything artistic really. I like to read. I like to read poetry, I write poetry. Pretty much anything art related I do.

What can audience members look forward to seeing from you?

Well, I’m a theater person, so I’ve got the goofy side out of the way. Really I just hope that they can sit back and enjoy what they see.
