Waha Siddiqui, Editor in Chief
Waha Siddiqui, senior, is the Editor in Chief of the Messenger for the 2020-2021 school year. Beside her involvement in student journalism at Marquette, she is the Co-President of the Muslim Student Alliance (MSA) chapter, and involved in Mu Alpha Theta and the National Honors Society. Outside of school, Waha finds herself involved in passion projects that work to bring about change through student activism, especially in electoral politics, and projects that use the might of written word to move people. In her free time, Waha enjoys surrounding herself with friends, family, and a disheveled collection of music and books.
![For the first few months of quarantine, MHS was relatively empty with the only traffic being staff picking up or dropping materials. Over the past three months, the reopening phases and county-approved sports practices have allowed MHS to once again be busy with activity, now following social distancing guidelines.
