The MHS girls swim team had their last meet against Parkway Central on Jan 24. For the last five years, the team has gone undefeated in their meets.

Diving into the pool, Amanda Yu, junior, begins her 100-meter breast event. She reflected over the various events she swam this meet. “I am happy with how I performed, but right now we are working towards State, which has been the primary focus of the season,” Yu said.

Abigail Nebot, senior, swims a 100-meter breast in her last swim meet of the year. Girls swim and dive will compete on Feb. 14 and Feb. 15 at the St. Peters Rec-Plex. MHS will battle for a championship title against about 40 other teams.
