On Friday, Nov. 9, the AFJROTC cadets attended two Veteran’s Day events. In the morning, they were at Ellisville Elementary School for a Veteran’s Day assembly (pictured), and in the evening they attended the annual Veteran’s Day dinner and program at the Friendship Village Retirement Home. Both events went well, the MHS kids really looked great, and all the Veterans enjoyed the AFJROTC kids at both venues, Gary Wamble, aerospace science instructor for AFJROTC, said.
