During finals week this year, there are many distractions. The Pageant is hosting a concert almost every night this week.

Teachers start talking about finals a week before the actual test so students can start studying well in advance, but some students aren’t preparing quite so early.

            Monday night was the Chevelle concert and tonight is the My Chemical Romance concert. Shelby Nace, senior, is attending both. She started studying on Sunday night to make up for the two nights she wouldn’t be home.

            “Well I’m staying home Monday from school to get a head start to study for tests and finals,” Nace said.

            For other students doing the same thing, Nace has some ideas.

            “I’d say to get as much studying done after school or before the concert as possible and definitely study as much as you can the rest of the week,” Nace said.
